Cookie Policy & Settings

Last updated September 1, 2026

This page explains which cookies and similar technologies the Real Vault website and client portal use, why, and how you can control them. We take a minimal approach: only strictly necessary cookies are set, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device so that it can recognise your browser on later requests. Similar technologies include browser local storage, which stores information on your device without sending it to us, and server logs. Under Polish telecommunications law and the EU ePrivacy rules, cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested can be set without consent; all other cookies require your consent.

2. Cookies we use

  • NEXT_LOCALE — strictly necessary. Remembers whether you chose English or Polish so that pages load in your language. Lifetime: 1 year. Set by our website.
  • sb-*-auth-token (and related sb-* cookies) — strictly necessary. Keep you signed in to the client portal or admin console and refresh your session securely. Only set after you sign in. Lifetime: until you sign out or the session expires. Set by our authentication provider (Supabase) on our domain.
  • rv-cookie-consent — strictly necessary (stored in browser local storage, not sent to our servers). Remembers the preferences you save on this page. Lifetime: until you clear your browser storage.

We do not currently use analytics, performance, functionality or advertising cookies, and no third-party advertising networks receive data from our website. If we introduce analytics in future we will ask for your consent here first and update this policy.

3. Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. Logs are retained for up to 12 months and are not used to build profiles of visitors.

4. Managing cookies in your browser

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will prevent the client portal from keeping you signed in and will reset your language choice on each visit. Instructions for the most common browsers are available from their vendors: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each provide a 'Clear browsing data' or 'Site settings' option.

5. Your preferences

Use the controls below to record your preferences. Because we only use strictly necessary cookies today, the optional categories are shown for transparency and will take effect if and when such cookies are introduced.

  • Strictly necessary

Language choice and portal sign-in session. Always on — the site cannot work without them.

  • Preferences

Remembering interface choices such as your selected currency in the portal. No third parties.

  • Analytics

Not currently used. If we introduce anonymous visit statistics in future, they will only run with your consent.

6. Changes and contact

We will update this page if the cookies we use change. Questions about cookies or privacy can be sent to realvaults@diplomats.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
